Mystery of Nothingness

2011年9月21日

The complete silence of mind is the complete freedom of mind.

If your mind is filled with something and clings to it,

the ‘feeling of loss’ is unbearable when you lose it.

This feeling of loss gives deep misery and despair in mind.

The causes of self-abandonment or depression

are usually this feeling of loss.

Then, is it possible to live without getting this feeling of loss?

Have the mind which doesn’t depend on anything or isn’t tied to anything from the beginning.

Don’t possess any objects which satisfy you.

Such an empty mind is constantly surrounded by deep silence and peace.

It is the stability of empty ‘nothingness’.

Your mind is not filled with anything, and you are not trying to fill it,

so you have nothing to get or lose.

Therefore, your mind is completely free, and from the bottomless blank of nothingness,

sensitivity toward the unknown is nurtured.

Only mind of nothingness can sense the unknown mystery,

and only empty nothingness can have infinite possibilities.

Mystery is with nothingness, and the nothingness sharpens sensitivity toward the mystery.

It is empty nothingness, so it can have unfathomable possibilities

and perceive the infinite unknown.
